Shih-Ching (Roy) Lin, PhD

Postdoc Research Associate

Shih-Ching (Roy) Lin obtained his BS degree in Life Science and MS degree in Immunology at the National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He moved to the United States in 2015 to pursue his PhD degree in Integrative Molecular and Biomedical Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. In July 2021, he joined the Diamond lab at WashU and is currently investigating flavivirus-host interactions, innate immune responses and gut-brain axis using in vitro intestinal organoid model and in vivo mouse model. Outside of research, Roy is interested in exploring good restaurants, watching movies, playing badminton and outdoor activities including skiing and traveling in and around St. Louis.
